I'm thinking, now, that I just need a little time off. I'm not feeling well and the blog is no fun when you're under the weather. So I may not write for a few days but will hopefully start up again after a little hiatus.

- I'm a retired charter boat captain living on the island of Maui. I rarely leave my little abode and that is by design. I took Thoreau's advice and simplified my life many years ago. I read a lot, cook some, watch a few movies, shake my head at the happenings in the world and ponder my days gone by. And, also, the ones to come.
